So with a gap between armies, I thought it time to finally paint up my Silver Tower boxset. I have already finished the Stormcast, Fyreslayer and MistWeaver but today I move onto the Tzeentch stuff. These are some great kits and I have been excited to start them. I started here with the Pink Horrors and here is 'How I Paint' them.
(Please Note: I show ways of painting miniatures in efficient time but maintaining quality, this is How I Paint them, not always how they should be painted, you are free to use and distribute photos and use any techniques I go over freely too)
I first undercoated the Horror in Corax White and then applied an all over shade of Carroburg Crimson
For the feathers and flames, I glazed these with Gilluman Blue.
I then applied a layer of Screamer Pink to the fleshy areas
and mixed Screamer Pink and White in 75:25 ratio and drybrushed this on very lightly.
I finished the skin but edge highlighting with a mix of 50:50 Screamer Pink and White and painted the eyes with Calgar Blue.
I moved onto the metallics and based the weapon in Leadblecher and Gold in Retributor, I washed the weapon with Coliea Greenshade
I washed the gold with Reikland Fleshshade Gloss and edge highlighted both metals with Stormhost Silver.
I finished the model but painting the teeth with Zandri Dust and layering with Ushabti Bone.
Once based in a simple stone scheme, the model was complete!
I hope you enjoyed this and you find some bits useful for yourselves, if you have a question please use comments below. Thanks!
