Battle Report: Path to Glory Campaign (Part 1)

Paul and myself tested the waters with the new Path to Glory campaign this week, we started from the top and started working through the battle plans. Gotta say, it has probably been the most fun in a while I have had with playing Age of Sigmar! The campaign begun with us picking our warbands, this was the only part where we picked, everything else along the way we rolled for which made for some great moments later on.

Mojgorox had brought to war his trusted Gor herd, most devote to him and a horde of Ungor including some Raiders, those "trained" to use bows! For himself he was of course the Lord of War which meant he could bellow orders to others or himself to hit harder. He also had come to possess a Runeblade to allow him to attack faster and a Bane Weapon which doubled the amount of damage inflicted. All of the these weapons had been fused into his claws as the rest of his armoury was.

'How I Paint' Series: Mythos Wildborn, The Goat

Good Morning everyone! Today is a special day as this is the release of the 'How I Paint' Series on Mojgorox, the leader of my Brayherd and soon to be the most feared Beastlord in all the Realms. The model is from Paranoid Miniatures and the Wildborn Faction called The Goat, it was the very essence of what I wanted Mojgorox to look like. A Beastlord twisted beyond comprehension by the Chaos Gods.

Matched Play Battle Report: Brayherd Vs Flesh Eater Courts (1.5k)

So this week I got to play Adam with his new Flesh Eater Courts, ok they are unpainted but he is learning the army as he paints, similar to me with the Brayherd. This time the game was at 1500 points, still Matched Play as it is probably the best way to learn what an army can do. The battleplan we rolled for was Escalation which is a pitched battle with the diagonal zones.

'How I Paint' Series: Rise of Empires, The Wizard Tower

Hi guys! A little bit of a different 'How I Paint' today, I thought, seeing as I took pictures of all the stages I would go over what I done to create the Wizard Tower which will be part of the Rise of Empires event in Feb 2018, the terrain piece is roughly 3 foot x 2 foot and will be the centerprice of the Collegiate Arcane District table. It was so much fun to build and paint, and I learned as always a lot along the way. Here is 'How I Build and Paint' it.

Review: Age of Sigmar Path to Glory

Hello and welcome to this post all about Path to Glory! This time an official Games Workshop release and another awesome supplement to Age of Sigmar. Ok so this will be the theme of this review, awesomeness. As you may know, I am a huge fan of Path to Glory and went as far as to create warband tables for all the factions for an event I ran in Feb 2017. You can find then tables here.. Unofficial Path to Glory tables

It is a fantastic way of playing with unique ways of building your army. You do not even need to go anywhere near Matched Play points here.

Miniature Showcase: Bishmeister, The Moonclan

So today is an epic Miniature Showcase, I am joined by Christian, otherwise known in the community as Bishmeister! I was lucky enough last year to meet Bish and talk about his amazing Moonclan army he had bought along. The army is only half of it though. It is the display they are featured on that really pulls in you, your imagination runs wild and you are left in awe of the most amazing hobby ever. So buckle in and enjoy the ride as Christian shows us just what Hobbying is and how it should be done.

Matched Play Battle Report: Brayherd Vs Ironjawz (1k)

So tonight I managed to finally play my first game with the Brayherd, I have 1000points painted and challenged Matt Ransley to a 1k Matched Play game. This is the army I shall be playing for the foreseeable future, Beastmen were my first love in Warhammer and after selling my original army back when AoS dropped (personal life financial stuff), I have wanted to redo them in Age of Sigmar. Matt has been playing a year or so no, although hasn't played many games, his Ironjaw army is amazing and received a painting nomination at Realm Hoppers at the beginning of the year.

'How I Paint' Series: Brayherd, Ungors

Today I bring to you my blog post on the Ungor with Mauls and Shields, these are pretty similar to the Gor models I showed a few weeks ago too. As you will see, I also painted 20 Ungor Raiders at the same time. You can find the painting guide for that too.

Review: Dominion of Chaos, Battletome

Today I have my well overdue review of The Battletome: Dominion of Chaos. This is probably one of my favourite out there due to my love of scenery! The book gives you loads of battleplans to play with your collections of Age of Sigmar terrain.

'How I Paint' Series: Brayherd, Ungor Raiders
