'How I Paint' Series: Brayherd, Bestigor

Its been a while since my last post, due to holidays and a bit of a hobby lull. But today i bring you a painting guide for the Bestigor. These are cool minis and using the same technique as I have for my Gors and Ungors, pretty easy to do. Here is 'How I Paint' them.

I begin by undercoating them with Matt Brown Camouflage and then dry brush the fur and hair with Terminatus stone.

The Skin is drybrushed with Gorthor Brown

The wood of the weapon is dry brushed with Sylvaneth Bark.

I base coat the horns with Zandri Dust

All the Gold is base coated with Balthasar Gold

Any Cloth or clothing is painted with Death Guard Green.

and all the armour is painted with Leadbelcher. The teeth and any bone of the mini is painted with Ushabti Bone

The wrapping on the weapon handles and any wrist straps or rope is base coated with Rakarth Flesh.

I then wash the whole mini with Agrax Earthshade.

Finally the weapon is base coated with Leadbelcher and washed with Nuln Oil. If there is any banners or face cloth, I glaze these with Temple Guard Blue (1 part paint to 9 parts water)

From here and in the future, the mini could very much do with some edge highlights and line highlights all over but as this is very much  speed paint army, this is where I stop. The model looks good at the point and a great table top standard.

Once the bases are done, thats it!
